The knowledge assistant for SME's

Your company's verified knowledge, one question away.

Duna gives your people instant answers from knowledge your own experts have verified — always with a source and a confidence level. And what Duna doesn't know for sure, it never makes up: that question goes straight to the right colleague.

The problem

“Just ask Pete.”

In every knowledge-intensive company, the real knowledge lives in the heads of a few people. They answer the same questions over and over, new hires shadow colleagues for months before they can work independently — and when a key person leaves, the knowledge leaves with them.

The wiki that was supposed to fix this? It's out of date, and everyone knows it. So people go back to just asking Pete.

AI chatbots on top of your document pile don't solve this either: they sound convincing even when they're wrong. For procedures, safety and customer agreements, that's unacceptable.

How it works

Three possible outcomes. All three honest.

Duna only answers from curated question-and-answer pairs your own experts have verified. The confidence level is always shown — explainable, never a black box.

How do I request time off?

Request time off through the HR portal, at least two weeks in advance. Your team lead approves; for more than ten working days, HR approves too.

Verified Source: HR handbook · verified by Sandra (HR), May 2026

Verified and current — the answer you can rely on without a second thought.

What is the mileage allowance?

€0.23 per kilometre for business trips with your own vehicle.

Indicative Verification lapsed (Dec 2025) — re-verification requested from Finance

Aging knowledge stays useful, but is never silently presented as the truth.

What do I agree to for an emergency outage outside office hours?

There's no verified answer to this yet. I've sent your question to Erik (Operations) — you'll be notified as soon as he answers.

Routed to the expert

No guess, no hallucination — the question is with the right colleague. And their answer improves the knowledge base for good.

The flywheel

A knowledge base that fills itself.

Wikis die because maintenance is a separate project. In Duna, curation is part of answering itself:

An employee asks a question in plain words, in any language — at the office in the morning or on site at night.
No verified answer? Then Duna automatically routes the question to the expert who owns that topic.
The expert answers once and that answer instantly becomes a verified Q&A — the asker is notified automatically.
Next time, Duna answers by itself and in due course reminds the expert to re-verify the answer.

Every unanswered question makes your company permanently smarter — and Pete gets his day back.

Why Duna

Built on trust, not AI magic.

Presents, never generates

The AI presents curated knowledge; it never makes anything up. Below the confidence threshold there is no answer — just a route to the expert. By design, not by prompt.

Aging is visible

Every answer has a re-verification window. When it lapses, you see it: the label shifts from Verified to Indicative.

Any language, the same knowledge

Ask in Polish, answer curated in Dutch — Duna matches across languages. Built for multilingual workplaces.

Your knowledge stays yours

Hosted on EU servers in Germany — or fully self-hosted. No dependency on US cloud services: company knowledge is too valuable to give away.

Early stage, deliberately

We're looking for a handful of design partners.

Duna is young. Over the coming months we're building it together with a small number of knowledge-intensive SME's that recognise this problem — with a direct line to the maker, and terms to match.
